We are looking for PHP/MySQL web developers with at least 2 years professional experience to join our team. You must have strong knowledge of OOP and be confident with using frameworks; experience with our company PHP framework CodeIgniter would be beneficial. You must be also able to hand code valid, cross-browser and accessible XHTML/CSS and JavaScript. We want like-minded and self-motivated developers who have an eye for design and a passion to learn the very latest technology. Good knowledge of Adobe applications, Apache, Ubuntu and a good sense of humour would also be an advantage.

This is a full time position with lots of scope for advancement, based in Birmingham city center two minutes walk from New Street Station.

Qualifications are not necessary but you probably have a degree in something and we need to see evidence of your recent work. You are a recent graduate, a talented beginner or looking for that first career move. You will be interested in current affairs, politics, government policy, public administration, business and business administration. You will be able to write and edit copy, proofread and check the accuracy of articles, and be willing to learn how to commission features.

Qualifications are not necessary but a strong portfolio of design for web and print projects is a must.
