Usability and e-Commerce

Emma graduated in Politics and Social Science from the University of Sussex in 1995. Her early career included helping pioneer the first UK on-line video retail site at Pira International Publishing and negotiating multi-million dollar marketing partnerships with organisations such as Expedia and VirginWines for Amazon.com.

Moving to MTV in 2001 she was responsible for the user metrics across MTV's fifteen European sites. Her strategic analysis of their online business (the first ever done) led the business to enter its first pan-European e-commerce deal with OD2 digital downloads. Emma went on to negotiate and rollout this venture working across all disciplines to implement innovative on-line tracking and production processes and methodologies.
